Dentists Near The Waterways

The Waterways occupies Aventura's northeastern corner, an enclave of condo towers, townhomes, and apartments wrapped around two anchors: The Shoppes at the Waterways, the open-air marina-front plaza at NE 207th St and NE 34th Ave with dining and a spa, and the Waterways Marina at 3585 NE 207th St. Boaters, families, and professionals live here, about a mile east of Biscayne Blvd. It is one of the city's most self-contained pockets, but self-contained has limits. Nobody drills a cavity at the marina.

One road solves it

NE 207th St is the answer to nearly every dental question in this neighborhood. The street runs east-west across all of northern Aventura, from the Waterways docks past Biscayne Blvd to the Aventura Lakes gates, and the dentists sit right along it.

Drive west from the Shoppes and just before Biscayne you reach 2797 NE 207th St, a single building holding two practices. The Dental Care Group downstairs has served Aventura since 1970, a multi-specialty office under Dr. Rick Mars covering general, cosmetic, implant, orthodontic, and pediatric care, with Saturday hours and staff speaking Russian, Spanish, Hebrew, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole. Upstairs, Dental Care Group Kids treats infants through adolescents, including children with special needs, with Saturday and Wednesday evening availability.

Past that building, the Biscayne corridor opens up with more options north and south, mapped in our Biscayne Boulevard guide . But for most Waterways households, the 2797 building ends the search before the corridor even starts.

A family corridor, both ends

NE 207th St is quietly the most family-dense street in the city. The Waterways towers and townhomes hold plenty of households with kids, Hidden Bay sits just off NE 34th Ave on Dumfoundling Bay with professionals and families, and at the street's western end, Aventura Lakes contains the city's main single-family community, 419 Mediterranean-style homes built around four lakes between 1998 and 2002.

All of those families funnel down the same road to the same building. A parent can book their own cleaning downstairs and a child's checkup upstairs in one trip, which is the kind of logistics that decides where busy households actually go. Weekend availability seals it: both floors open Saturdays.
